Mines only 2 wheel drive, i drove a 300 4 wheel drive when i bought it and it took a 40 acre field to turn around in. i didn't want that.

Those 300's are good, tough machines. The engine/trans is a continuation of the old ATC250 Big Red utility machine. Their only weak points lie in the rear axle. Just about can't kill that engine...............unless you oil starve it. My buddy has been running the Big Reds and the 300's for decades. He killed the original engine in his Big Red by installing the oil filter backwards during an oil change. Completely starved it for oil flow and siezed it in short order. Fortunately he had an engine in a TRX250 hulk (the early one with the swing axle front end) to swap in.

Guess mine wasn't the biggest at the time.lol

Story of my life.

same here.

It's been a good one, i only had it in the shop one time for a stripped oil plug and they didn't fix it. so i JB welded that sucker. it still leaks but not much. i can live with it. just need to keep a pan under it to keep from gettin my barn floor oily.. and yes those oil filter are a one way deal. only time i use it is at deer season anyway.
