West Coasters (or anyone else with similar trees): I fell quite a few Western Red Cedars that are around 24" DBH. When I have to wedge them over (often-ish), the stem kinda compresses around the wedge, making it much less effective. I find myself stacking wedges in order to coax the tree over. I understand that the issue results from how soft cedar is. How do y'all deal with it? Typically, I'm using standard, 1.25"x8" wedges. Are there taller, wider wedges that I should be using for cedar?
