Sheesh, wish i still had all the CB linear amplifiers and stuff from years ago. still got a couple base stations in the attic. probably don't work now and a few desk mics. still wish i had the linears.
Somebody school me on police scanners and short wave radios. no need for a long post just are they easy to program and use and what's a decent one. also do they need an outside antennae? i had a handheld scanner here years ago and i guess all the police and fire changed channels or frequencies cause it won't pick nothing up now.
I used to talk to a guy in Virginia years ago on the cb late at night. when i would hit the mic key the lights would go really dim in the trailer.
