Laroo's super bigly reloading thread

I loaded a few Craptons (Imperial Units) of 44 Mag and lots of 357.
I also loaded 35 Whelen, 30 Herrett, 222 Rem, 22 Hornet.
I have everything but primers for loading 30-30, could use some 250gr LSWCs for the 44.
Large rifle primers are damn hard to find right now, if I was in a bind I wouldn’t be afraid to use large pistol in 30-30

Even though i don't relaod i always pick up my brass. i gave a away a slew of rifle brass a while back. to someone who reloads. Mostly 30-06 223 and 308 fired from machine guns i had for years.. but there was a lot of 300 blk and a few others too. probably have 4 to 5 thousand rounds of pistol brass now in all calibers. I always thought about getting into reloading but my OCD would never let me reload for any length of time. also it wasn't worth it back years ago when you could buy ammo cheap. i still wouldn't reload 9mm or smaller now. to cheap to sit for hours doing it. also i am too stupid to reload, would probably blow myself up.

Being OCD would serve you well for reloading I would think.
I don’t think you can reload basic rounds, say a 223 with a 55 gr fmj any cheaper than you can buy them, but what about when we can’t buy em or more uncommon bullet cartridge combinations that you can’t find on the shelf.

I remember when ammo couldn't be found a few years ago, none of the reloading components could be found either. probably the best survival rifle is a black powder. a flintlock at that. percussion caps are crazy expensive now and from what i hear can't be found.
