Gun type stuff for sale

what?????????? ok Aaron, cats outta the bag now. got any vintage toppers in the back room???

Lol. Lots of obscure old stuff comes through the shop......................but it's all either owned by the big boss or one of us employees (or is something one of us is fixin' for a friend or family member after hours). Between all the 'gun guys' that work there, I can get just about anything that's legal to own (in this great state). Just takes time and $$$.

We build new rifles (and a few AR 'pistols'). Everything we build is .454, .475, or .500 cal. John Moses Browning is our patron saint. Most of us carry 1911's. We're all conservative or at least libertarian. Everybody there really knows their shit.

You only want the rifles, right? Not shotguns?

oooh............thats about obscure enough to get me interested. nice color on the frame. why not you did not produce this that day?????
what gauge? i would be interested unless your in league with the evil bay prices.

You were getting homesick. :D

I haven’t looked to see what they go for. Bad part is they need to go through a FFL. Do you have a local guy to do the transfer?

You gonna have Mike awake all night drooling over those.lol

Lol. I’ve mostly had my fill of single shot shotguns.

We had to do a certain number of bluing projects when I was at school. We had to provide all firearms ourselves. Being from VA it wasn’t very convenient to haul a bunch guns up to PA, so I had to ask the other guys if they had stuff I could blue. I guess Iver Johnson Champions were popular in Western PA, it seems like I refinished 20 of those things. $300 bluing jobs on $40 tomato stake guns.

shotgun has to be some thing special to interest me now. i have several here i'd like to find low pressure rifle barrels for.
i cant stand the recoil from a 12 any more, slugs, fuck that, they kill on both ends.
reminder for any readers, DO NOT install high pressure rifle barrels to sb1 huntsman or any pre 87 H&R frame. they are cast iron and not designed for the pressure. 3030 and 4570 are the most they can handle.
about twice a year i read a thread where some has bought a used 308, 243 etc and its on a shotgun frame. bad deal. if in doubt remove the but stock, if the back is solid its a low pressure frame.

did some reading, it seems the older huntsman will not accept a center fire barrel since the lug is narrow, however the ATF still considers it a fire arm as it could be modified to accept the wider lug. pft. ok pricks.
i cant find any recent sales. sales from 10 years ago, they arent commanding what the center fires were at the time. ill look some more later.
it looks like a rebounding hammer, not the transfer bar system, so its prolly late 70s. looks to be in good shape. i assume the barrels not pitted from sugar powder.

The older one is an AL prefix serial number, looks like that puts manufacture in 1973.
