520 sp is an odd little saw that would make good landfill if you aint too fussy

Bought the 520SP brandynew 11/83 ,,,used it quite allot for breakin down tops while scrounging farwood ina lot that was being loggd,,across from best friends house ,, think we “paid” the landowner $10./cord ,,drove our 4X4 trucks on skiddr paths ,, bucked n shuttld across the street where we would handsplit n stack then load n deliver wif an old Intnl 1800 series masons dump ,,,and were livin like kings when we collected $75/cord :oops:o_O.Those days are long gone ! I was gonna buy the 49SP ,,dealer suggestd going wif the “ lightr “ sawr ,,,it’s never made me regret its purchase;)(y),,asa Electrolux product it didn’t suck ,,total fail;):facepalm:

G’moorny990rs,, 45f-60f clearblue sky’s ,, spotted a humminbird hovering where the feedr should be hangin,,,boild up a batchonectar,,,didn’t take long to have 2 fighting for ownrship. Unpluggd the trashpump for the overnite,,,,shop driveway n side lawn area is submerged again ,,,mebe rice instead of grass would be best over there !! Took 6 hrs to pump it down yestaday ,,,back at it taday ,,,and cuttin 18”ers to refill an emtee stackr
