Frank N Truck

Expensive time of the project now as i don't have stuffs laying around to cobble together
Drive shafts will be close to $2000.
Dakota gauges will be close to $1500, with exchange and shipping
I may spring for a Fluidamper as they are supposed to smooth out a bunch of the nasty vibes of a Cummins, might help with the 5th gear issue That will be close to $1000. landed here. I will have the front apart to put the keeper in for the killer dowel pin.
Did some soundproofing yesterday and will finish it today and start some of the wiring
Intercooler is at the welding shopcrew soundproofing.jpg

Drive shafts and Fluidamper are on route...
Next purchase is Dakota Digital gauges. There will be a bit of specific wiring for the gauge package so that will be on hold till then.
I have the killer dowel pin to deal with as well,so a new front seal will be installed when that is all apart when the Fluidamper gets here.
I am going to finish striping the donor frame and get it on Kijiji to see if i can recoup some $$$ i have a rough 2WD crew cab i will package as a project. Not many 3500 4x4 around so fingers crossed
The box and winch will be removed then it's done.

Havn't done anything on the truck since last week.
Been doing some yard cleanup in front of the shop as all the snow and ice has left.
Had a couple sea cans that needed attention, and had to get the front of the shop cleaned up so i can get my KW and lowbed saftyied up. Have a wheel seal on both that are starting to weap, so i will do a wheel off inspection while I'm partway into them. Also had a brake spring break on the lowbed before winter hit, was noise coming from one wheel pulled the cover and a shinny spring fell out
