Bought another dirt bike awhile back. CRF 450r fuel injected witchcraft bike. Previous owner set it up for woods racing. Big fuel tank, oversize rads, magura hyd clutch, rekluse system. Bunch of other shit. All the stock parts came with, I'm swapping the big fuel tank for the stocker. Made the bike feel similar to my old alum frame xr 650r, awkward
What it started as, previous owner liked stickers. I've since rebuilt forks changing springs and revalved for my weight. Last guy was maybe 150lbs. I'll get a pic of it with stock tank installed to show difference. Plastic kit and OEM decals are on order

My Little town of 250( 2000 in the summer) had a car show,,,not sure who has these hoarded away,,, there was 40 cars as well.

Bought a cheap 2004 yz 250 2 stroker off marketplace. Drove 1:20 to Carlisle Indiana to get it and the seat was off, guy was using a leaf blower to blow dry it. Said he washed it before I got there and now it won't start. He felt bad of course and tried to get me to just bring it home and tinker with it. If I didn't want it in a week he would come get it he said. I refused to do that but seeing the ball in my court I asked what it would take to buy it as is and I bought it. Next morning it started on first kick. May sound silly but I have his address and I'll be mailing the remainder of his asking price tomorrow

Nah, I been tricked too many times by assholes buying they're used junk. This guy was dead serious that he wanted me to take the bike home, no money exchanged just take it and see if it will run. No way I would do that but that told me he was a good man. And I felt bad about even asking about him lowering the price if I bought it as is but I've been burned big time and without hearing it run I hadn't a clue what it was. He was good enough to offer what he did and it's only fair he got his original price after seeing it wasn't junk. But thanks
