MindsOuch.
only takes one.I forgot and left the mag for my Browing A bolt 270 at home years ago. Single shot rifle for the weekend. I was "lucky", never saw any deer to shoot.
yes. i had never seen that but he knew what was up. she didnt group well with those two either.Flattening primers?
My 7mag flattens em a bit, only sees 3-4 rounds a year. Loves the 140gr Barnes triple shocks, with 67 or 68grains of imr4831 behind it. I’d have to double check.yes. i had never seen that but he knew what was up. she didnt group well with those two either.
When we started usin Barnes bullets, about 2004, the first recipe book said 68.5 gr max load, we figured a half gr less should be good... next years book said 67gr max, we changed nothing, ragged one hole groups at 200yds.lol, yeah 4831 and barnes 165s. i forget the grains but he has it wrote on the box. Charlies good about that so i can duplicate it when i start loading. the savage will put these into less than an inch if i do my part. i couldnt find a factory load to do that.
I have a 110 and was thinking the same dam thing, hope yours has a wood stock, mine is a polymer stock, 06, it's not nice to shoot, but you can hike all day with it no problem.i have always wished my 110 had a detach mag, until now.
