Tim’s payloader and generator BS thread

These are the tire options listed in the operators manual.
Continental 12.5-20 MPT E58 10PR
335/80R20 XM27 TL Michelin
335/80R20 Dunlop SPT9,

The Mitas tires on it are steel 3 ply tread, 1 steel ply side wall, rated at 4940lbs.
I've been searching the interweb and found these:

They are Mitas 335/80R20. I suspect original since new. The 2 that are like new are Michelin 375/75R20 XZSL. I have been looking for 2 more but they seem to be discontinued.
After what you said about Michelin tires, I better find something different. I see surpluss hummer tires cheap but am concerned about load capacity. I need to verify capacity of original tires. I think they are about 8000lbs but not sure.
A 385/75/22.5 is good for a little over 9000. 9300 if I remember right

A brand new Michelin in 4 years the casing is rotten, guaranteed, Chinese stuff has better casings, truck tires are even worse I think. I wouldn't run michelins on a steering axle
In the past I have found the Goodyear casings to be the best for longevity. My tires don’t get a lot of miles on them. Sucks to have a recap that is hardly wore and the casing is rejected for sidewall cracks.

seems to be a lot of effort for a dodge

i quit buying caps. they seem to get cracks before we wear um out. cant ring caps no more either, fuk a cold cap.
Also agreed, not worth it. Highway guys who wear them out really fast,it might be worth it, but it costs a lot of money when a cap let's go 200 miles from home in the middle of nowhere, which was always my experience

The engine in that splitter is may worth more than the splitter will sell for.
Been a little busy.
I ordered the new surplus Pirelli Unimog tires on Monday. They were tracking to arrive Thursday but now the tracking number don't track.
I picked up that water pump at auction a few weeks ago. The engine is locked up tight. When I get time, I'll put a new Perkins 403D-15 engine in it and sell it. I've had the engine sitting in the shed and haven't had any luck selling it. Current production Godwins are using the same engine branded as Cat C1.5.
I bought 2 spark ignition Doosan 11.1 liter engines a few weeks ago. They haven't shipped yet. When they do, they are headed to a friends business in IA. He has room for them.
I bought 15 new spark ignition Doosan 8.1 liter engines Wednesday. I don't have room for them so I rented some space about 40 minutes away. I'm looking for a cheap forklift to leave there. There isn't much out there.
