How's the 7310 looking?
If I ever get to buying a new saw
It has me at old technology.
Put a 288 topend on it.It has potential. I hadn't fondled it much yet. Wanted it to stay in one piece till I get time to really experiment with it.
I have heard it is basically a new oe372... with more refined av/filter
No real stroke.Put a 288 topend on it.

I like the guys that disagree with the dyno cuz when they ran x saw it felt much faster than y saw.You have the patience of a saint dealing with some of those thick headed
Fanboys.
Or their brother in laws boss said saw X would spank saw Y so the dyno has to be brokedI like the guys that disagree with the dyno cuz when they ran x saw it felt much faster than y saw.

That'd be a good thing.
They don't bother much, unless the mouth starts running where they thunk I may not see....You have the patience of a saint dealing with some of those thick headed

Lol, just wait until I get time... I plan on stihl vs husky in the opposite group... just so I can condition myself to swim the river of tears#itwasfinewhenitlefthere
2nd start out of the box, was staying really rich. After a while it will get more rpm. I've seen 14k before on other 500iShit, that 500i goes into valve float. It would be impressive hell if you could get it to carry out a bit longer.
Wait... For the record I don't like the tech, but I'm impressed
yeah, couple guys out west falling with longer bars said its a floppy sissy with good power, but they don't think it will live long.Saw guys run a 500i. They kept going on and on about crazy throttle response. I refused to touch it. Witchcraft....
Joe have you done a 461 or old school 660? i'd like to see torque number for those compared to these newer saws.
well, those little screamers won't scream with a 36 buried in oak lol. i had to go to the other side every tree but two last week. appreciated the power of the ported 660. big old timber.Same for me, but wif a 181SE and a 288XP. They won't have the R's....bu who cares if it's a work saw?
Never a stock 461.Joe have you done a 461 or old school 660? i'd like to see torque number for those compared to these newer saws.
i bet, my 660 stock was a sissy for its size. its a bad dude now though. i really like the 461, i just cant see the clutch taking that long bar for long even if it is ported. i does pretty well with a 32 but have to keep the chain sharp to avoid clutch slippage.Never a stock 461.
But have a stock 660, and 395.
Ported the 461,500i put out more tq than stock 660/395. And about 3hp.
Redfin 661 stroker is at the top of the power, followed by tm066 for the ported big saws.
Jon has a 500i gotta have some use by now.
