Land of cowshit and beer farts.
Specifically looking to replace my plethora of old, wore out cordless stuff of various cheapo brands with some Milwaukee Fuel goodness.

My most immediate need is to replace my busted 1/2" drill. Other possible pieces in order of want are:

1/4" impact driver
1/2" impact
Sawzall
Circular saw
Leaf blower
Lots of other stuff I really dont need but might get used if I had em.

Brushless is preferred, and thinking the extra for hammer drill vs regular will be handy in the near future.

Trouble is, the number of combo kits out there is mind boggling, and I'm going (more) nuts deciding what I want to start with. Would like to be under 500 but could go higher if the deal is real good.

You guys seen any good racist Friday deals on Milwaukee combo sets?

I might just start with this one:

Once I've got batts and charger, it seems to be easier to find deals on tool only single tools.

Home Depot should have a bunch of Milwaukee stuff on sale, for Black Friday.

Same price as CPO, I guess. Has almost everything you want and you won’t get most of that stuff for $100 for the tool only, later.

I’m a dewalt guy, but I know Milwaukee is about the same.

Be careful with the kits. You’ll have two or three different “combo” kits. All three will be priced different. With drills and impacts they make a homeowner grade and pro grade, I do believe there is a mid grade too.

For work I made the mistake of getting the cheap impact and drill last year on a Black Friday sale. The drill is junk. The chuck slips on the drill bit. The impact has no ass behind it.
The guys on the farm also have Milwaukee drills but they are the pro series drills and they have much better chucks and the impacts have a lot more ass behind them.

In regards to Dewalt, the pro series tools are XR, the drill has a metal chuck compared to the homeowner grade which has a plastic chuck.

Like T1 said, check out CPO Outlet

Wallace Electric in West Frankfort sells Milwaukee tools and has refurbished with a same as new warranty. I bought a impact drill for a good discount and you can't tell the difference from new. They make deals.

I don’t know if you have a Blains Farm and Fleet near you. When I got my stuff they had the best prices that I could find on a sale they were running.

They were running sales on bare tools. If you bought a bare tool you would get two batteries for free. I bought a bunch of bare tools and obviously had way more batteries than I needed.
I forgot how the sale was rung up on the receipt but I was able to return the batteries and got cash back. By doing that I was able to get the tools for about 60% off.

Get the kit you will use the most. Then buy individually.

I have quite a few of the Waukee tools now. Dont think you will be disappointed.

We're liking the brushless dewalt kit purchased a year ago. 20v max xr. Reciprocating and circular saw, 1/4" driver, hammer drill, drill(mexico), light(china), batts korean us assembled, charger china

All my personal stuff is Dewalt XR. I prefer that over the Milwaukee Fuel stuff that I’ve used.

I‘be got your same tools minus the light. Although I am considering the chainsaw. A buddy has one and that thing is pretty nice.

I’d probably sell my 362

Do you have a Menards near you?

I know a lot of contractors In our area use Masterforce which is a menards brand. Their return policy is amazing. These guys will tear stuff up and when their tool breaks they’ll bring it back to exchange for a new one off the shelf. Just like Sears used to be with Craftsman.

Although I will never set foot in a Menards ever again. They went all communist around April and will not allow anyone in their store without a mask.
