The IH "Tractor Man" cast into the side of the block above the fuel pump is making me week in the knees....

There were engine pics in the listing. Air compressor looks the same with the large offset drive pulley. Ex manifold looks different. The truck had 2x 3 into one.

If that truck does have an RD450 and you repower it (DT466 oughta fit), don't scrap the RD. Bring it wif the lathe....

Altho, check out the gear drive starter. Pretty high tech fer 1950/60-whatever.....

I'm hoping you made a "jewish" 1%, buy it for 1 and sell it for 2 making 1%
6% I know it sounds nuts to be jacking around so much.
I didn't really buy it to re-sell and make money. I've been watching the one at auction for a few weeks when this one came up locally. They don't come up too often locally and this one was nice. Not knowing if the one at auction sell for a reasonable price, I figured I snatch up the one that came up locally. When I was high bid Saturday at 11:00, I listed the one I already had on CL for sale or rent. Preferring to rent it until I got the other up and running. I didn't expect to have it sold less than 24hrs later. Dumb luck I guess.

Bump
I finally used the fork attachment on the wheel loader. I may pull the grapple arms off. They seem to be in the way. It's marketed as a log grapple. I think the arms are kinda flimsy to be handling logs. I have the other grapple that is pretty stout.

Just finishing up the backhoe attachment. I had found a surplus cylinder to replace the missing one. I bored and bushed the ends offset for the larger pins. I need to verify if doesn't bind. I tried it out today and one of the hook up hyd hoses is leaking bad. Gonna pick up a new one tomorrow. I checked my pile of new take-off hoses, nothing.

Tim, my thoughts on david brown...........although i did get the over complex selectamatic valve working, it raises and lowers and holds with a slow downward drift, it sucks for grader work. i am contemplating plumbing the remote valve to the lift cylinder. there is a plug on the end housing which comes off easily with four 3/8 bolts. after much reading and measuring i have determined it is SAE -5 5/16 ORB. kinda obscure but i have one on order. i believe if i plumb one line to it and the other back to a plug in top of the housing, it will effectively work as a single acting valve and cylinder. that is if the fluid does not back feed into the selectamatic valve, i dont think it can with the control down. we shall see.

Let us know how it works out.
FWIW, I've been ordering hard to find fittings and stuff from discount hose. They have a pretty good website and prices. https://www.discounthydraulichose.com/
I just ordered some custom hyd hose assemblies from them for the backhoe attachment. The Schaeff has some hard to find metric stuff. I ordered new hose ends to stock for when a hose fails.
I'm even considering buying a crimper, bulk hose and ends from them too.

The hyd cylinder was binding. The hydraulic port would contact the dipper stick. I re-installed the cylinder rotated 180 degrees then the other port would make contact. I ended up cutting and relieving the stick. I have new hydraulic hoses ordered. I'm finding one leaky hose after another on this backhoe attachment.
