I have ground the pin a lil short sews it stays recessd in both sides of he handle ,,then take a soldering gun an melt a small bit of handle @ the hole to keep the pin in place on both sides ,,,a drop of j-b might work but ifn the parts gots any oil residue it may not stick well
 
I was given a 576 fullwrap

So I put it on my truck saw a 266

All the fasteners holes lined up
But I had to bend it to fit the gas tank fasteners.
And bend it towards the saw to clear the
Clutch cover I ground it down some.
And cut the bottom corner of the wrap off.

I cut the face off a am 272 top cover and riveted it to the broken 266 cover.
