Randy mastermind ports cylinders only get a 266 cylinder to him
For that saw.
this saw is very tired,,, i would not spent a cent on it...
its a friends so far the fixings free,,, its now running,, pretty sure it needs seals and other stuffs,, it will probaly sit up on the wall as he is looking at a brand new saw.
money is no object,, 500I??
And once you convert our money to usd and add shipping,,,, sucks the big one.
But thank for the input

I'd get a 500i before a 592 according to what I hear. If he don't mind it stinking the place up

friend got china 288 like that
strong saw he said, start pulley, knot so much
its got a customed by me 61 pulley now
So far the g288 has been the best of the clones I've been around
Feels like picking up a new oem saw back in 2000 i still have my brother's last 288 lite before he retired from his timber business.
Several guy's here have the g288 and they are holding up fine.

Ran a 592 couple weeks ago,, no fleas on that saw,,, havent heard any bad about them, but havent looked.
there are nay sayers bout the 500 as well,, who knows.
Apparently the crank bearings are delicate, same as every 5 series saw. 5 years ago I could have bought at least a dozen blowed up 562s in about a 2 month period. Every one needed bearings. A guy who used to work for me bought a 550 mark II which were supposed to be updated, it piled up the bearings too. Husqvarna should have kept making 2 and 3 series saws.
