I've never built one but a old feller had one in the 90s that was strong
From reading up on it you may have to relieve the inside of the piston a little to fit over the rod
And cut a little off the top of the popup or piston to clear the sparkplug or clearance a little for squish.
Some got .20 thou some had to grind a little
Be a fun project.
