i never have had trouble with a saw. maybe we dont keep gas long enough? regular gas like the pick up gets, stihl orange or grey, idgaf, 2.5 gal mix to 2 gallons. i have never in my life had a fuel issue with a saw unless i bought some thing some one else fuked up.
Hell some of the time mine sit for a year or more without an issue, fill them up and run them like a raped ape then they’re good.
Nothing is as gay as Stihl

Anyone run the 550XP Mk II that has also run the 550XP?
I'm thinking about getting a new saw (550XP is running excellently though) and wanted to know what the Mk II was like.

If I have mix that goes stale, don't happen much cause I only mix a gallon or 2 at a time, I put it in the truck, car, mower or something instead of buying snake oil to try and make it last forever
It isn’t here as of June 2022. All premium gas has to have a minimum of I believe 10% ethanol.
Saskatchewan is an hour away and they still sell premium gas that’s ethanol free.
I need more gas cans.
Well now I'm gonna have to look but I haven't heard anything. It definitely didn't change in June cause the pumps are still marked e free

I gave this to my nieces husband to cut firewood
I've had it 4 year's no problems
He fried the oil pump worm gear in a hour
I don't know if he ran it dry too long or didn't clean the oiler hole when he put the bar on
But he's called 5 time's wanting it back.
He can't stand the thought of cutting firewood with a 028 wood boss again.

i found a 55 in a box while looking for some thing else......i dont remember what was wrong with it. they worth rebuilding? its little.
