Does any of you use Stabil?
Clint , if you are looking at Stabil , which is decent . Look for their Marine Stabil . It’s a bit stronger and claims to address ethanol problems as well .
Also , buy your fuell at a station that sells a lot of fuel . It’ll be fresher to start with . No sense in trying to stabilze old gas .
I just went through this with some E0 as bought it at a station that doesn’t sell a lot of it . After having it 3-4 months in 5 gallon cans with stabilizer . when used as saw fuel , my saws would not start on it .
Ran just fine in my mowers and pressure washer .

This talk of old gas has me thinking im doing something wrong. I cant seem to keep any gas around for very long.

The lite ends in the fuel are responsibil for ease of starting. That woosh when you open the cap on the can is your easy starting leaving.

I bought a 50 barrel of airplane fuel back in the early 2000s
I'm not saying there was a performance increase or anything but we used that in saws mixed with lawn boy oil 40/1 for a good 5/6 year's
And still seemed fresh no residue in the bottom of the barrel
had little flecks of lead floating in it.
It was 2.00 a gallon back then I don't know now.

Airplane fuel has a 7 year shelf life so I was told by a guy that ran a small airport.
