I've heard so much bad about Chinese parts and I'll agree that some are junk but a lot of guys that preach about how bad they are , are just hating and have never even used any.aftermarket parts have saved a lot of saws that would have gone in the trash. I have a very beat up 272 that I put a like 3 dollar Chinese piston in complete with the piston ring and clips, just to see how long before it exploded, and it still runs. I wouldn't sell it to anybody and I wouldn't have done it if I was depending on the saw but I don't think any of the parts are nearly as bad as people think. I've had tremendous luck with Chinese carbs, sometimes they are cheaper than a kit for the original carbI haven't used one but one of the porter's had several that failed.
I do have 7 372s and a 268 with china coils
Only one went bad in 4 years
Well worth 10-15.00 for another one.
