The Husqvarna thread

I'll probably come to, yuck, and call to get the price of the chainsaw as well as the price of the xpg wrap kit. Last time I bought a new saw was an 2253WH back in 2012!!
Bar & Chain, ummm, not quite sure there, what would you recommend on a 390/395 of length?
and no, it will not be the new X Though for Husky, I do not pay blood price for a relabelled TsuMura.
TsuMura's Really New Light (this one has resin through the cutout, as Cannonbar has)

Their new Premium Light should be ruffly 20% lighter then their T&L.

I have 15 or so 24" tsumura regular and the old style with the cut outs.
And can hardly tell the difference in between them.
But the 24" Oregon versacut aluminum core is far lighter
And 40% cheaper.

I do not stress with the project, I weighed 15 "and there was 100 grams in difference between solid to LW.
There is a difference but at 592 and to my goal the bar weight will have zero significance.
Husqvarna's Xtough is expensive here in Norway, Cannonbar thinks will come out the same.

What is considered expesive in Norway? Here a 24 tsumara is just a bit over $140 Canadian. The husqvarna lite bars i just bought were made in norway. Im not sure who made them for husqvarna

Got a L65 that has been sitting for years.
Guy was a big help during the flood, not for me but others.
This was his dads saw.
Asked me to get it going.
New gas,, 10 pulls,, the antique runs great!!
Oils and all.
I was expecting a fuel sys redo and all that stuff.
Gonna go buy a lotto ticket,,

If it's been sitting a real long time since before ethanol, they're usually fine. Congratulations.

I'd bought 25 gallons of leaded aviation fuel in the 90s
And ran it in my saws and motorcycles
I stopped running
Alpinas 60cc saws and just left fuel in them
and they set for over 12 years in my barn
3 of them fired right up when I put fresh mix in them.
Ethanol now will junk fuel lines and carbs and corrode bottom end in months now.

I have a 455 here with brake problems, it won't release, can't get the cover without use of a bfh
is there a trick to this?

I Think you actually can change them. Drive it into the tank and you can somehow maneuver a new one back in the hole. T1 dated a girl like that

I'm sure there's instructions on A S, they seem to think those saws are even hotter than an ms390

They are molded in the plastic, tried getting one out of a busted tank
Going to weld it up and it will end up as a loaner unless i find a tank free.
