you got a low kick back chain. you can still file them, it will take more effort though.

Did you buy that on purpose? Or was it the free sample included when buying the bar? The first couple of times yo lower the rakers will be a swipe or two with a file, when you get into the meat of the raker it gets more difficult. If the price is right i have no trouble using safty chain like that.
I bought a car and chain combo, it was cheaper than the bar alone.
The bar is made in the USA, chain was made in China. I’m going to use it till I can’t get any more use out of it.

4” angle with a flapper sorts that quickly. Its not really safety chain. Just a whole lot of unneeded guide material.

That's not new, it's called Vanguard and it's been around for years. It cuts better than it looks like it should. Every time I sharpen it I just do two good swipes on the raker, there's no gauge for it that I know of
