Daughter and son in law (SIL) are over here. SIL just heard from his mom's best friend that his mom is dead. He called the local PD in Ca and they told him that she's dead of a self inflicted gunshot wound. His mom didn't own any firearms, and was terrified of them.
His mom's friend had said that his mom had sent her some text messages a few days ago.........instructing her to save them in case something happened to here. Fast forward to today, where the methhead on again off again boyfriend called this best friend and told her that the SIL's mom had shot herself in the head. He's the one that called this "suicide" in to the police. Smells like bullshit to me. Now we're figuring out how to get them to Ca so he can handle her affairs.......

Kids arrived there yesterday. Some details. All sketchy. It's a fucking shitshow. His grandma and uncle are real pieces of work. What a fucked up family. Kid rightly doesn't want anything to do with them.
