Got it off, put two lug nuts back on to keep from messing threads up and put a crowbar between them to stop it and it came off, still had to push hard on that one side. all the crap behind the hub needs replacing and i ain't doin it. all she gonna do is ride it around in the yard and that won't be much. the bearings seem ok. she just won't have front brakes which she didn't anyway.
I took the shoes off where they wouldn't drag which they were completely wore out and put the hub and wheel back on. I'm soaked.

You could probaly get a used loaded backing plate off the bay for cheep,,,
Take the nut holding the drum off first...Holy mother of abuse and neglect, this rusted up POS. that hub ain't comin off. it is rusted bad and something is definitely fried in there. i got it soakin with PB Blaster. if that don't work gonna put some heat to it or you guys got a better idea?

With all the stupid rules our PM who identifies as an idioit has in place i didn't know what would happen trying to get back into Canada.Getting into the USA is simple,i phone and ask what the rules are and they answer my questions.
Call Canada Customs and ask them and they will not answer any questions,thier response is "i am not allowed to counsel you on how to cross the border" For Fuck Sakes you are the guy who i am going to see when i want to come back home.
So i had a bunch of papers for them including a sworn letter explaining my business,the essential services i provide.
After about an hour the nice customs lady got me and exempt status. I am hoping that will be used for my next trips as well.

I always stop at this rest stop as i can see the valley where we used to Placer Mine.
In the second pic you can see a hill that runs from the windshield down to the hood.Our road went around the base of that hill then to the left up the valley to what was called Squaw Creek,the wokesters have renamed it to IDK
