Knives or axes whatever

Some guy on Reddit told me you guys can't have folding knives?
Is that true
Switchblades are a no no,, not sure about the thumb assist ones,, I have 3,, all from USA, not sure if they are legal or in a grey area.

  • automatic knives such as switchblades;
  • centrifugal knives such as flick knives or butterfly knives;
  • gravity knives;
  • mace or pepper spray designed for use on humans;
  • nunchaku sticks (nunchucks);
  • shuriken (throwing stars);
  • manrikigusari or kusari (fighting chains);
  • finger rings with blades or other sharp objects projecting from the surface;
  • Taser and stun guns shorter than 480 mm;
  • crossbows designed for one-handed use;
  • crossbows 500 mm or shorter;
  • Constant Companion (belt-buckle knife);
  • push daggers;
  • devices shorter than 30 cm concealing a knife blade (e.g. knife-comb);
  • spiked wristbands;
  • blowguns;
  • Kiyoga or Steel Cobra batons (spring batons);
  • spring-loaded rigid batons (triggered by a button or lever);
  • morning stars; and
  • brass knuckles.
With that said, it’s also illegal to conceal any knife and with the intent to harm. This include self-defense! More details below.

But if yer east indian you can carry a kirpan,,,,

Damn you're a violent bunch
Apparently
The guy on Reddit said he's ordered regular folding knives some with some without the flipper tab
No automatics and they were siezed at the border.
There is a Canadian knife guy has a channel on YouTube their must be some way to import everything he shows all kinds of knives.

I always carry my kershaw clipped to my pocket, never been questioned.
Always remember to not take it to certain places.
The thought to use it for protection is just never there.
Were are all very calm,,, EH!
Watch out for our bovines in parking lots tho,,

What section reads of the castration of Canadians?

I needed a small fixed blade after giving the cold steel to my great nephew

I found this 3 5/8" 4mm thick full tang knife online only 20.00 after discount

Very sturdy with d2 steel took a good edge
I don't care for the sheath I'm trying to find a pocket sheath for it.

I ordered a couple of knives from this Ukrainian outfit for Christmas gifts to myself
It was only 67.00 for two handmade knives I ordered two different 5" versions

if thats really made of d2 tool steel that was a smoking deal.

handbrake picked up a couple folders for me at an auction a while back, french made knives. idk any thing about um, funny looking but sharp as hell. they seem to be on the thin side.

I don't know for sure there's a guy on YouTube that has tested a lot of the d2 imports and they were actually d2.
All of the d2 labeled knives I've bought recently are noticeably harder to sharpen than my carbon steel or stainless knives
I just use a 600 or 800 diamond steel to sharpen anymore
I have stones and worksharps but I just like the diamond steels.
I really like this knife I carry it often.

i have a couple diamond stones iv been using for the chrome moly, my old wet stones wouldnt cut it. neither does well on the stainless knives..........the boning knives i just drag through carbide once an hour. they are junk, but good luck finding any made of real knife steel now days. that i can afford any way.
