How about a product review thread?

These were supposed to be the best thing since 11 herbs and spices were combined, biggest piece of junk I've ever had, so much play in the rivets you can almost tie them in a knot
The new batches of impact sockets have the sizes etched into them. Fucking useless.
I also don't like the new adjustable wrenches, I got one warrantied, and ended up with it. Only to find out later they had a parts kit to fix my old one.
They also changed the forging design for the combination wrench, the old versions were very nice. I ordered a set, not knowing they changed it...
Gray is being watered down since the original owners sold it a few years ago. I remember when they had tent sales, they also have a door you walk into to warranty your broken items. I actually drove by the factory today on my way home.

These Knipex Cobra pliers are quite spendy, but totally badass. By far the best slip joint style pliers I've ever used. They stay locked at the span adjustment you set until you push the spring loaded button, no matter how far you open them. NO slipped span adjustments when you're one-handing them at arms length deep within a piece of equipment.

Their less expensive 'alligator' pliers are also extremely high quality, but function like regular slip joint pliers and will slip adjustment if'n you open 'em just the right amount.

if vise grips dont say vise grip on um, promptly throw them into the nearest body of deep water you can find.
good vise grips can get you out of a jam, shitty ones will get you more jammed than you were to start with.
Agreed. I don't know why, no other brand is worth a shit. Even high buck brand Snap-On suck by comparison.
