The shop I go to stopped selling most ammo, by itself, a while back. They have a hoard in the back room, but that’s the only way they’ve been able to keep any on hand to sell with gun purchases.

Ive heard shops doing that here too.
I stopped in the other day, he said they pretty much just have open orders. Just send us whatever you can.
They do that here too, they still sell ammo but keep a bunch for gun purchases or otherwise they probably wouldn't sell as many. lots of people won't buy a gun they can't find ammo for. but i think they will only sell you a couple boxes even with purchase.
I wanna say they’re only doing 1 box.
They had one of those steel drums of 5.56, I didn’t even look at the price.
I saw one online for about $12K IIRC, and that may be a bargain in the future.

They were out of stock on mags, I’ll have to do some lookin to find some. You guys using Magpul?
Just gotta find em now. Stupid how much of this stuff is out of stock.
Got em at Midway, didn’t want the 30 round mags. So I bought one sled and one 10 round Lancer.
I usually hunt with the 10 rounders, they are more expensive than the 20 and 25 in 308. but with the run in with the hog i had last year i will have a 20 rounder in there.
