Was a close one. Good thing I had my 10mm 1911 on my hip. Otherwise, I wouldn't be here posting. :D
A friend bought a double stack 1911 80%. Do you know, can that be built as a long slide?

Yes. Just make sure to match the barrel ramp style with the cut in that particular frame. That extra (angry) inch of sight radius is hugely beneficial. You can get an extra 40-100fps over a 4-5" 10mm pistol when using a 6-7" barrel. The additional slide mass tames the cycling speed of heavy 10mm's too. Longslide 1911's and 10mm go together like chocolate & peanut butter. Eye'm gonna build up a LS double stack 10mm at some point. Like Tom said............why not? I have a single stack LS and a double stack 5" 10mm. Gotta complete the set...

I have seen a few of those in different styles, all way overpriced. I'll keep my Lula, easy to use and can take it anywhere.
It kicked his bitch ass.
Oh My!

Actually 223 mags are easy to thumb load, a loader is not really needed. now if were to load a bunch of mags. most people go shoot and run 2 or 3 mags through one. now some of the SMG mags are a pain and need a loader. My Smith 76 and Mac 10 are like that. the 76 will wear you out trying to load. even with a loader. one of the plastic lula loaders would not work on it. it would break easy.
