I'm sure most are just looking for a payout but it seems there is some problems with them.
I had my paws on a Smolt or Smython depended on how you know them. Haven't seen but a few and not in many years.
A S&W Model 19 with a Colt Python barrel, they were kind of a big deal back in the 1970s and '80s.
This one had a Magna Ported four inch barrel, a bit of nicely done engraving, prefect bluing and about the smoothest action I have ever seen.
The tag said $2800, it came with a very nice walnut and brass case.

I saw an N Frame and heard L Frames were used.
All were custom jobs used mainly for PPC.

Got my last set of mags today for the gear up promotion from Springfield Armory. , all together i got 18 free mags for 5 different guns from SA. don't know the value of all them but it's probably a good chunk of change. Can't argue with free even if it did take a while to get here.
