With the job I have now I miss out on calving, I miss it sometimes. I spent 12 years calving 1200-1800 first calf heifers. The trade off is that I now have a shit ton of fence repair/maintenance. At least with fence, I can go home when the weather is shitty, you don’t have that luxury when calving heifers.

Good Morning ! 56/72 clowdz with a chance of reins . Not allowed to do anything approaching useful for a while . So, basically ,I’m calling that winning ! Gonna tear into some carbulizers today . That should satisfy the Doc’s work requirements ,and justify my existence on the planet for yet ,another day !
