I only charge for price of the parts it takes to repair the saw . Grinding chains is just what I do . NC ..
These chains belong to an owner of a machine shop . Some time down the road , I may need a machinist . Besides , it keeps me busy . And , having earned 23 redit hours at the “Man of Action Academy of Fine Arts ,and Storm Door Repair ” , Slacking is not an option . . .

A old fella dropped off probably a dozen chains for me to sharpen
He said he couldn't afford the local shop
They want 16.00 a chain
That's insane especially for 16" lp chain
I gave him a pile of the china chain it was only like 4.00 each.
I've run that china stuff for year's now
Suits me fine.

Take into account that I’m 41, not 20

I’ve also never been a sprinter - I’m definitely an endurance runner….. 🤙
