Probably didn't even have to lay chain to it. The sound of a 288XP is often enough for trees to fall and buck themselves.

Started my wood boiler two days ago.
Made some modifications to it which have dropped the stack temp aprox 100 degrees F
Now that storage is up to operating temp i should begin
to see if the mods will cut the wood usage.

It seems eye yam stihl burning moore than cutting,,,,rectum eye better get started pretty soon

Depends how much consists of creosote bridge timbers and whether or not the wind is blowing towards his useless neighbors, also how much caulking/leaf blowing the widow Harper requires.
Hardwood is too expensive here, not paying $400 a cord for it, the DF and cedar I've been getting run about $60 a cord, the pine is free.
Last year I burned the better part of five cords, I have close to ten cords on hand, I'm supplying Harriet's firewood as well.
I'm likely to haul another load of DF/cedar this weekend and maybe some more crappy pine next week.

I have it guesstemated I wood burn 4-5 cord if we had a cold winter and I was there full time.
My wood shed hold 4.5 cords.
I have near a cord of unsplit.
May go get more, its easy getting, bout 2 hour trip.
