ya its a pretty gun. she was a gal's rifle, her husband was a gun nut. its bedded and has a trigger job done way lighter than i would have gone. its an accurate rifle though.I'll take a look for this part #, probably buy a spare if I don't find mine back.
In my search I called Savage parts dept, they gave me a different part number, 55120. So that's what I was searching for.

Mines a 116, stainless/synthetic. She's a little rough on the shoulder, but not terrible. Great shooter tho.
I've always liked laminate stocks. They can make an inexpensive gun look pretty decent. Far and away better than a stained cheap wood stock in my opinion.
