Anyone here have experience with the CS610EVL . I’ve got one here . It runs , but it is real touch as far as carb adjustments . Especially the H side . It’s about an eigth turn between fat ,and lean . On the low side ,not too bad . But I noticed if you go towards the lean end , it will backfire through the exhaust ,and miss . Is that one cylinder dropping out from lack of fuel ?

They are well known for having spark problems and parts are non existent. I had a John Deere model and sold it for good coin. I've got an Echo here now that has no spark and don't think it ever will. Very smooth running saw when right, no vibrations at all.

I've ran a few at GTG's. Neat saws. SMOOTH. Decent power. Beautifully made, fragile looking mag castings.....

I remember going to the Yaeger and Kirk lumber yard/hardware store in Santa Rosa, Ca with my dad one day when I was a youngin. They were having a demo day for Homelite and Echo chainsaws. Dad wanted to see the new 610EVL twin. Was a hoot. That place shut down over 30 years ago.

A few years back, Dave gave me an NOS McCulloch bar that he'd gotten from a local saw shop (Fulwiders). They must have bought out some of Y&K's saw inventory, as it has a Yeager and Kirk price tag on it....
