I watched a video ( a while ago) on JD owners not being able to get JD software to fix their units.
The farmers were upset because they could change a part but not access the software for the fix
Did this ever get resolved?? JD didnt want to share their software.

I'm not sure, but it was a big deal for a while. They couldn't even plug in a scanner to read a code. I know I looked at tablets this spring and one of them claimed to have Deere Ag software loaded

I read a couple of years ago about guys getting some Russian hacked software to fix them but there was hell to pay if they got caught.

You can get the software, but you need to pay Deer’ly for it....

And you don’t need to be a Stealership to get it.

I watched a video I'll try to find it
The Czechs jailbroke or one of those countries
Will sell the codes for like a 100.00
It's the only way to work on them yourself.

I did that with VW VAG-Com
Also had to buy a special cable that had to be sold as a kit.
Software was very complex. And cryptic. Lotta ones and zeros and values.
