the Royal Enfield crowd gave me the hard sell. There is a catch to them, they won't survive long on our fuel, the entire fuel system will need work before you can run them.
once you run out the bugs, all the adjustments right, they are no more trouble than a '70s Honda twin. One of the members has a shop by Redding, you fork over $8k
and he orders what you want and you get one already set up, with almost anything made of rubber replaced, including tires.
that $5k selling price seems a little high. then add in another 3. The quint ain't enough.
Of the three Savages, only one stock, two had internal engine mods, I tell tell that by the blue pipes and how they sounded.
even as lame as I am, I could sit on any one of them, no bullshit covering the rear fender, just swing around the fender and sit down like the Sportster.
