I heard you can get 8 stud hubs that fit most of those...Last thing I woulda used was them mobile home axles. Getting almost impossible to buy tires to fit them and they are spendy $$$$$
Fail on the paint...View attachment 921View attachment 922Just finished the loader arm pin/bushing/paint project. 2nd pic is loader arm dragging on the ground. That's the cause of the problem. I need to cut off the attachment and raise them.
Told the sandblaster/painter to paint it Safety orange cause that's what he had laying around. With my budget, I'm not too concerned about a perfect match.Fail on the paint...
like a husky i see 3 different shades of orange...
That is what I had first considered but I think it will be less work to cut the whole think off and move it. I'm not too concerned with pretty on the snow bucket. Like most snow buckets I've seen, it looks like it was cobbled out of scrap steel. Why cant you add some plate @ the top ( for a new upper pin hole and bushing ) and make new pin holes,,, like lower the bucket and make new pin holes.
Have a question for you fellas. You may or may not remember me tearing apart the rear of my 244 to fix a no raise issue on 3pt.
Its been working well but the other night, it was pretty cold, the 3pt was cycling up and down, albeit just like .5” both ways but as the machine warmed up it stopped.
Chalk it to just cold fluid?
Cold enough for any water in the system to have froze? If so, I would add a few ounces of Isopropyl alcohol to the hyd oil..Have a question for you fellas. You may or may not remember me tearing apart the rear of my 244 to fix a no raise issue on 3pt.

Tim, would that be a good idea to do every fall as a preventative?Cold enough for any water in the system to have froze? If so, I would add a few ounces of Isopropyl alcohol to the hyd oil..

And stay away from slick sack Rob.If you have too many falls maybe you should stop adding alcohol?
JealousAnd stay away from slick sack Rob.
I don't think I would add it unless I suspected water contamination.Tim, would that be a good idea to do every fall as a preventative?
Sometimes .5” is all it takes.1/2” both ways sounds like a lot of travel, to me.
It was below 20* that night. 6 galllon in system. Just a few oz’s?Cold enough for any water in the system to have froze? If so, I would add a few ounces of Isopropyl alcohol to the hyd oil..

what kind of pressure did you get from her? i had a whole stack of little problems affecting the DB and i'm not done chasing all those yet. i still may have to get a new pump. i did have her lift doing all it supposed to but at 450psi if would raise a back blade. lots of rotten o rings in it. since you had her apart i dont think water is the problem. could be the wrong fluid? the uk guys are telling me to use motor oil straight 30. eye dont see a difference between 30 motor oil and 30 hydro but they say it is?Have a question for you fellas.
