Not So Pros v3.0

@RandyMac (or anyone else), any love for the McCulloch Titan saws, specifically the 620? Not something I'd normally go for, but thought it might be cute. Especially for $65.

I know zero about them but it looks a bit like an old Partner, like an R16 or some such

It is highly likely we have an ancestral connection. The knothead part of the family arrived here in the 1630s, from Glencoe, another big batch hit these shores in the 1740s.
The old roots of the Clan are Picts, which can explain a thing or two.
With some hubris, there is a claim that the phrase "Give me liberty or give me death" came from a Clan moto, "Libertuis Casus Belli" basically, Liberty is cause for war.
The symbol shows a variation of an upside down or broken crown, either under a cross, or pierced by a sword.
my surname got here about 1720 from dumbfries. eye am still not exactly sure which crest goes with my particular ancestry....there are so many different ones. but i am reasonably sure the most popular one does not as it is attributed to the virginia line and i have proven we are not the same line.

I mostly run Carlton chain, but when I do run Stihl, it's always RM. I'm not a logger, but I do cut a shit-ton of firewood, and it's always made more sense to run semi-chisel. Maybe I'm wrong. 🤷‍♂️ If I started running RS/chisel, would I finally be allowed to drive a Ridgeline?
semi is rough for falling but does make sense for fire wood blocking. its not as fast or as smooth but retains a good enough edge longer.

Will THNN wire in conduit work for a tracer wire for underground? Or should I buy actual tracer wire to lay in a trench?

I never put tracer wire in anything before and that kind of bit me in the ass today.....
what exactly are ya talkin about? when i put in the feed or my shop, every one said i didnt need any conduit, theres no rock here. it burned out one leg within months. i did it over in conduit, no more problems.

Tracer wire is made for direct bury and is solid core. THNN is stranded, but not designed for direct buried.

I’m curious if the day ever comes to trace my line whether or not I’ll be able to trace my line with THNN in conduit.

Yea, I’ll never put any wire underground unless it is in conduit.
I’m running CAT6 to all my out buildings, everyone said to just buy direct bury. Nope, that stuff is going in a pipe.

Everybody will tell you WiFi is good enough, too. Until it isn’t.

I still need to finish wiring the data jacks in the house. :(
