Real 4x4, LS V8, truck frame. It's just the ugliest truck-ish thing GM ever built. I think the same guy designed Jeffus' beloved Pontiac Aztek. For a couple years you could even get a 3/4 ton version if you wanted it to ride like crap too, while still having light axles (same years as the 2500 light duty pickups, no diesel option, no full floater axle in back). You could even get it with the 8.1 if you wanted to be able to get sub 10 MPG.
