The prepper preparedness list thread

Rather than just say "I got a ridgeline because it's better on gas than my pickup and easier to park. I t's kinda comfy, too. Which isn't surprising, because it's a minivan with a 2' bed on it." We had to listen to numerous tales of how the ridgeline was more of truck than anyone else had ever driven and how he once loaded 50 tons of gravel in the bed while he was towing the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

Same guy had a very specific list of the "professionals" that he deemed worthy of driving his choice of vehicles. Everyone else was beneath him and their opinion was automatically invalid.

Then there was the true o:cry:o moment, telling everyone that the ridgeline jokes would get old and everyone would forget about it.

Pro tip: don't do that. :D

Grab piece of firewood. Stick under downhill side of tire. Done.

Whatever would cause someone to go to HellMart to buy a piece of firewood is beyond me.

Sheesh, SS. You need to go back to work or something. This retirement thing ain't working well for ya.

TFR, ten finger Ross(exSW) is a huge Ridgeline fan and took offense one day to someone making fun of one. It was a pretty good rant which ended with him leaving the forum, never to return

Yup, when a few of us told him we'd rather have an El Camino over one of those he didn't take it too well.
Well damn. Yea I missed all that. I remember that guy but didn’t really notice he was gone. At least now I can use that punchline and not feel like Eddie.
