Got a 11hp sno blower to,, couple small fixes this am, its goin to the cabin.
Electric starter is dead, got power to the starter,, no spin.

So I took the starter off da blower and dissected it.
My fluke says its open in the feild.
Took a probe to the mfer,,, burried inder a connection i found where the shelac must off wore thru with vibration..
And then the wires arced and went open,,, well luck will have it there is nuff xtra wire i got in there like a ER Dr, and twisted the two wires together and soldered them and put a heat shrink tube on it,,,,, meter says 1.5 ohms and no grounds,,, I also coated the area near the arc with 5 coats of nail polish,, mfuken brushes were a real pain to get in there. My sugical skills prevailed,,,
fukker works,,,,,,

I fixed a 661 fer a guy,, we made a deal on the 046,,, and he says he has some other saws fer me to toss in,, possible 045 n 048 unknow condition.
Guys been good to me in the past, hes a faller, he just bought a 362 and may get a 500i.....as backup/brushing saws.
