Not So Pros v3.0

most of um here are white quartz, but the flint ones are deeper. i found a couple small black one in the bottom of an 8' deep pit years ago. i always wondered if different people over time used different material.
This one is obsidian, it’s not a native stone in this area. I’m told it was traded for and packed in from further to the North

yeah the two little black ones from the pit are obsidian, which aint from here. its amazing the ancients traded that far but later natives used the quartz that was here. the quartz ones are very plain with no notches while the flint and obsidian ones have notches. it seems backwards but the quartz points are on the surface.

Hunting arrowheads is one of my favorite hobbies and I live in a very good spot for it. Lots of history in this area.

Cool find yesterday while fixing fence.
If that was found here you would be shut down, site declared heritage, we would toss a million at the site, indians would spend a few years digging and find nothing else.
But you could never build a road fence or anything in that area,,, we have had major highways relocated because of this,,, its gets a bit much after awhile.
Bones are even worse,,,

I know of a cave in N. Wy that has drawings and some old broken relics in it and I've been sworn to secrecy concerning the location because of this. They are scared that if it's ever seen his land will then be a national park.
