Did it make you feel dirty to know that ones and zeros were fornicating inside?

Yes. Fire bad.

Damn thing needed the high idle set EVERY time I restarted it. Once running for a few seconds I could disengage the high idle. The control lever MUST be pulled out before moving it up for choke or high idle set. Very difficult with insulated gloves (necessary when cutting up in the snow at 10-20deg f temps). At least the chain don't move at high idle.

Felt like I had to coddle and cajole it to convince the thing to update its tune as temps and elevation changed. The computer is smarter than me and my screwdriver I guess....

I also had shit for torque down low and the clutch is wimpy. Had to keep it singing with a feather touch. It's also much more sensitive to a dulling chain. Was only cutting 8"-20" or so DBH Doug Firs.

The purge bulb offends me, and the damn thing is butt ugly (with a bowl cut)............looking like a damn running shoe. The AV is also pretty saggy with a 24" b/c.

I ran my trusty 272XP the following day and was MUCH happier. Didn't notice much if any weight difference (was paying more attention to being winded while slogging thru snow and dodging buried stumps and brush and shtuff). Stumping was MUCH easier. No damn bogging or clutch slip. Six inch or shorter stumps are mandated, and many of these trees are significantly buttressed at the base.

Oh and this is a 2020 production saw, so it has all the "updates"....
