In, then out, usually.

I picked up a tilting table at an auction a while back. The table was made by Boston Scale & Machine Company. I haven't been able to find much information on them. It looks old. There are some casting flaws and it has some patent dates of 1915 and 1919. It requires odd sized "T" nuts for the slots. I ordered some O1 tool steel to make some. I found and ordered a stud, block and clamp kit in 6mm that should work well. Kinda sucks to have metric stuff on this fine piece of merican history but I couldn't find a kit in 1/4".
I made up 6 nuts an oil hardened them. I put them in the oven at 500 degrees f for a few hours to temper them. It kinda stunk up the house. Glad the wife wasn't home today.
I trued it up on the surface grinder too.

Easy to fill a generator with it.

Those dish sop bottles are also good for filling bar oil tanks on saws with poorly placed bar oil filler holes (like Homelite Super E-Z's).

But how is it for baked on, caked on, stuck on crud?

If you wash out a dish soap bottle, it great for applying gravy in hard to reach corners of the buffet trough
